Hi, I may sound really stupid to all the math gurus here, but it’s been a long time since I am studying linear equation in real life, but I never found it interesting. In fact I always commit mistakes. I practise a lot, but still my grades do not seem to be improving.

Have you ever tried Algebrator? This is quite an interesting program and helps one in solving linear equation in real life questions easily and in a short time.

I remember I faced similar problems with unlike denominators, subtracting fractions and rational equations. This Algebrator is truly a great piece of algebra software program. This would simply give step by step solution to any math problem that I copied from workbook on clicking on Solve. I have been able to use the program through several Pre Algebra, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I seriously recommend the program.

Sorry friends . But whenever I see those book and piles of classwork , I just can’t seem to retain my confidence . Thanks a lot for the advice and I will use it for sure. Where can I get this thing?

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving midpoint of a line, conversion of units and graphing. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and Algebra 1. I highly recommend the program.

Yes I’m sure. This is tried and tested. Here: http://www.sofsource.com/simplifying-complex-fractions.html. Try to make use of it. You’ll be improving your solving abilities way faster than just by reading tutorials.
