You haven’t mentioned any information about the problem that is troubling you. I would like to help you with modular arithmetic equasion system as it was my favorite topic in math. I would just add a note to what has been said above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to copy .
