Hi math lovers , I heard that there are various programs that can help with us doing our homework, like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can help me with algebra ? I have never tried one until now, but they are probably not hard to use I assume. If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Intermediate algebra now, so I've been studying things like hyperbola creator and it's not easy at all.

What exactly are your difficulties with hyperbola creator? Can you elaborate a little more. I remember that recently I too had to go through a similar time of unease. In my case , my anxious search led me to a teacher in my locality . But he was so tied up that he just did not have the time for me. He was the one who in fact pointed out that now-a-days there is yet another solution at hand. He introduced me to these wonderful software programs in math .

Algebrator is one useful tool. I don’t have much interest in math and have found it to be difficult all my life. Yet one cannot always leave math because it sometimes becomes a compulsory part of one’s course work. My friend is a math wiz and I found this program in his laptop. It was only then I understood why he finds this subject to be so easy.

I remember having difficulties with subtracting fractions, scientific notation and x-intercept. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
