I have a solution for you and it might just prove to be a better one than purchasing a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a rather elaborate list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of problems and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on what is the difference between an equation and an expression? and I really enjoyed using it.

Algebrator is used by almost every student in our class. Most of the students in my class work part-time. Our teacher introduced this software to us and we all have been using it since then.

Yeah! That's a great substitute to the expensive private tutors and expensive online coaching. The one page formula list provided there has served me in every Pre Algebra exam that I have taken up in the past. Even if you are a newbie in Intermediate algebra, the Algebrator is very useful since it offers both easy and challenging exercises and drills for practice.

A truly piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving rational expressions, distance of points and matrices. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and Basic Math. I highly recommend the program.
